This group is for men and women in their 30's and 40's who do not have children and are living in Muswell Hill or the N10/N6/N8 neighbourhood areas. My aim is to bring together professional, creative, open minded and friendly people who are living locally to one another, by providing a social group which will hopefully develop into long lasting friendships. I will arrange a monthly meet-up to get it started.
One of the things about not having children when most of your peers do (whether by circumstance or choice) can be that your social circle dwindles, which in turn can make dealing with the unexpected situation that you find yourself in from time-to-time even trickier. It can also be difficult to maintain close bonds right across the breadth of London with a busy job and everything else that comes with it, so the group is aimed at people in the closer localities mentioned above.
Myself (34) and my partner (slightly older) will be moving to Muswell Hill in 2019 and I would like to take this step in getting to know some lovely people who also are living in this district of North London for the long-term.
I lived in London for 7 years in my twenties, so am already quite familiar with the Highgate and Muswell Hill areas in particular. North London is a great place to live, and it would be great to enjoy it's magnificent skyline backdrop with great people (and very possibly fine wine!)
A Knife and Packer quote from It's Grim Up North London: "I just love our Sunday afternoons browsing here after a satisfying brunch. This 1980's pressed steel bath is SO period!".
