What we're about

We started this meetup group to broaden our reach into the wider community using digital media as well as the traditional conventional organization. The Chinese Heritage Association of Australia was founded in August 2002 and is a community organization set up to promote the study and discussion of the history and heritage of the Chinese community in Australia. Its aim is to be active in producing events in Sydney, Chinatown and elsewhere particularly during Chinese New Year and throughout the year. We regularly invite members of the Chinese-Australian community, academics and others to contribute their stories and insights. Its members are contributors for presentation and research at leading conferences such as Dragontails, CCCA, ACBDA, ACCA and other leading events. CHAA is a non-profit incorporated association. It has no religious or political affiliations
