What we're about
We are 80 + happy friendly ladies, enjoying great company and new friendships with regular meetings.
You need never be lonely or at a lose end again!
Coffee mornings are held 5 times a month, an informal get together for everyone. We hold regular lunches, visits to interesting and sometimes cultural places, day time walks with refreshment (!) at local hostelries, cinema visits, monthly luncheons, supper evenings, Sunday luncheons ... And other events too.
Members can go to as many meetings as they want, there is no restriction- just remember please to put your name down as soon as possible, there are restricted numbers for most events, but usually there is a wait list so if you want to go put your name down anyway, then if anyone is unable to come, the next person on the list gets moved up. Please do not turn up to any meeting if your name is not down, this can cause embarrassment for the Host. Good idea check the website the morning of your event, in case there are any sudden changes!
Most meetups are held in the week, though some are also on weekends, and evenings. Our membership is for ladies residing between Lymington to Christchurch and the surrounding towns and villages, looking to make new friends over a cuppa and chat. We have a range of ages and personalities and look forward to welcoming you to our fold.
Our annual membership subscription is £6.00 . All new members are entitled to 3 coffee mornings to get to know us before you pay subscriptions, we want you to feel comfortable with other members before committing yourselves.
Helen Blake is the organiser, with help from other members, willing to host a variety of our meetings. Email through the website. It is easy to do....
Gwen Bailey is -co-organiser and can be contacted through the website. She is responsible for group trips and days out as well as other events, please contact her if you need any information, or if you get no response from me!
Please do not hesitate to apply for membership, we enjoy a cohesive group of Ladies who want to be involved in a really friendly club.
The criteria is only where you live, no age barriers we have a mixed and lovely membership. When you apply we do need a head and shoulders photograph of you on the website - we need to recognise everyone. Please try to put up a little bit about yourself, we love to know what you like, where you have been/ JUST so we can have an idea of what YOU would like from our group. Please put your name forward, when you are a member if you would like to host an event, or suggest an event it will be welcome.... See you soon.
