Come and love your neighbor at the Child Sacrifice Center
Come to the field of blood and souls and be salt and light in our dark community. We meet at 8 am most saturdays to witness to those Killing their children. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING, in fact We encourage you to silently pray WHILE OTHERS ARE SPEAKING. Especially your first time. WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS AND YOU CAN OBSERVE AND PRAY. Babies die here every week and their little lives are moments away from certain death. The Bible tells us to be a voice for them, to defend those who are weak and rescue those stumbling toward slaughter. This is not a special calling but the duty of every believer to love their neighbor as themselves. What we're about

This a group specifically formed to help committed Christians follow Christ's mandate of the Great Commission. The key is to be a follower and not just a fan of Jesus Christ. Many people are not comfortable with witnessing because they simply have not been effectively trained. We are called to plant seeds, water seeds, etc. Not push people into the Kingdom. This group provides training, support, help, activities and encouragement to those who truly want to follow Jesus...despite what the world and the flesh want. Activities include supportive fellowship, evangelism training, (ie: Way of the Master), effective tract ministries (Lake Eola Park or monthly area parades), Street preaching and door to door for those who are so called. We like to go out in groups of two or more.

If you do not feel comfortable talking, you can stand beside another, SMILE, BE FRIENDLY, and PRAY silently.

You can also pass out tracks silently.

37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Why share Jesus with others? Jesus commanded us TO BE WITNESSES AND MAKE DISCIPLES

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

What Evangelism Is Not

Many people are confused about evangelism. They want to be committed to evangelism, they see the need for it, and they understand their biblical responsibility, but they are confused. Why? Because there are a lot of things that are called evangelism that are really nothing more than poor substitutes. Here are a few of them.

1- Evangelism is not getting someone to repeat a prayer: If your goal is to talk someone into repeating a (sinners) prayer, then you are committed to manufactured results, not evangelism.

2- Evangelism is not inviting someone to church: This is important, and it may work in conjunction with evangelism, but it is not evangelism.

3- Evangelism is not social work: Again, this is important. It is a task to which all Christians should be committed, but it is not evangelism.

4- Evangelism is not winning an argument: Apologetics is important, and it is necessary to be able to defend what we believe, but arguing or debating and evangelism is not the same thing.

5- Evangelism is not the same as the results of evangelism: It is easy to get the two confused. Someone accepting Christ as their Savior is the result of evangelism. The success of evangelism is found in our faithfulness to the task, not in the perceived results.

6- Evangelism is not a program: It is easy for individuals to rely on a program of the church and, by default, neglect their personal responsibility. Evangelistic programs are great and needed, but they do not replace personal evangelism.

7- Evangelism is not simply supporting overseas missionaries: This is needed, but if this is all we do we are in danger of outsourcing our evangelistic responsibilities.

8- Evangelism is not just a willingness to confront a stranger: If we are willing to knock on the door of a stranger while ignoring our neighbor and the people we see daily, it is not evangelism we are committed to, but a cheap substitute.

What is evangelism? The Christian call to evangelism is a call not simply to persuade people to make decisions but rather to proclaim to them the good news of salvation in Christ, to call them to repentance, and to give God the glory for regeneration and conversion. We don’t fail in our evangelism if we faithfully tell the gospel to someone who is not converted; we fail only if we don’t faithfully tell the gospel at all. Evangelism itself isn’t converting people; it’s telling them that they need to be converted and telling them how they can be. EVANGELISM (EFFECTIVE WITNESSING) IS SHARING BIBLE TRUTHS OF WHAT JESUS SAID WITH SOMEONE, IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND LEAVING THE RESULTS UP TO GOD.

Ultimately, Evangelism is just the first step to discipleship. Jesus had 12 disciples that lived with Him for 3 years. In Matt 28, we read about the final words of Jesus, known as the GREAT COMMISSION.

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Amen.

TEACH, BAPTIZE, OBSERVE COMMANDMENTS are elements of discipleship, with PREACHING the Word and EVANGELISM being the first steps:

2 Tim 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2 PREACH the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an EVANGELIST, make full proof of thy ministry.

Acts 1:7-9

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
