What we're about

We welcome everyone who is interested in pressing pause on their busy lifestyle and joining with others for some silent contemplation and meditation in the Christian tradition. This group is open for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

Meditation in the Christian tradition is an ancient and simple way of prayer. It is a way of being fully present to the gift of our life, each other and God, of establishing peace in ourselves so we can be places of peace in the world.

We will be running a number of different opportunities to connect with God through Meditation - join the group to keep informed of whats happening.

WEEKLY MEDITATION PRACTICE GROUP

Running every Saturday each session will involve a short talk, a period of silent meditation practice and an opportunity questions and conversation.

The sessions will be guided by Chris Whittington. Chris was introduced to meditation in the Christian tradition at 19 during formation at a Benedictine monastery. He has been COO of WCCM (The World Community for Christian Meditation), gives talks and leads retreats across the UK and is a spiritual director. Chris is also a Partner and Head of Education Law at the social purpose law firm Anthony Collins Solicitors.
