Christian Young Professionals of Rochester is the result of our sincere desire is to inspire and equip young professionals within various industries to be the best they can be!  We thought Meetup would be great to connect with individuals that might not be connected with the traditional church channels.

What happens when people stop being polite and start getting real?  This is an open group committed to fostering community among Young Adults in the Christian community.  It can be difficult to connect with others in the Church, due to previous negative experiences, a difference in backgrounds, or simply being new to the area.  We are dedicated to creating an engaging environment for young professionals to interact and be real about where we are in our faith, our lives and our individual walks with God.

Christian Young Professionals of Rochester is an interactive platform to build interpersonal skills and develop Christian industry contacts looking to network and fellowship with other young professionals who share your faith in Jesus Christ.  This is a place to find accountability partners and share your personal and work challenges.  Whether it is through mentoring with experienced professionals and or peer-to-peer knowledge sharing; we are a collection of young professionals driven by our faith to be better in industry and encourage one another within the Body of Christ.

Christian Young Professionals of Rochester is committed to producing four marquee events per month comprised of: (i) The Luncheon, which is a mid-month break and peak professionalism, (ii) The Evening Mixer allows you to network in a relaxed, friendly environment atmosphere.  These Mixer events are a great casual way to meet other career professionals, Entrepreneurs and community leaders, (iii) The Career Building Educational Seminar is a hybrid leadership and personal/professional development networking group for individuals who are passionate in helping entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate executives and career professionals find that competitive edge and (iv) The Business Building Educational Seminar provides discussion points with contemporary content that will help your business explode in this modern era of technology and relationship/community building.

Christian Young Professionals of Rochester is committed to becoming “A Beacon of Light” as a Marketplace Ministry.  Our Marketplace Ministry Initiative is branded as “Everyday People Ministries” (EDP).  We endeavor to encourage people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by meeting their basic daily needs, and most importantly, sharing the Gospel Message of Biblical Salvation.

We serve people, (the least, the lost and the last) in need, with everything from basic necessities such as food and clothing to personal hygiene products. This marketplace ministry has three essential goals: (i) to feed the homeless (including those with addiction/mental illness) throughout the year and especially during the Holidays, (ii) to teach literacy and basic computer skills to teens and adults to assist with their career search and (iii) to mentor and build leaders to create unity/peace within the community/neighborhood.  As a marketplace ministry, we continue to strive to accomplish all these goals and help those we serve grow closer to Jesus Christ.
