What we're about

Surveys show that today's usual Sunday church services are too formal to give people the strength they need for a whole week of life's challenges. By comparison, the early Christians met in small, informal groups, so they could live closer to God and to each other – and that's how they overcame life's stresses.

Our meetings are all about that early Christian lifestyle, and about why small groups gave the early Christians so much strength. The good news is that whether or not you attend church services, and regardless of your religious background, a small group can give you the same courage, comfort, and hope that it gave the early Christians.

Our host, Owen Allen, has studied small groups for years, and has participated in many worldwide. So he knows what works (and what doesn't). His discussion, "How to Live Closer to God in Early Christian Style Small Groups," shows how small groups can empower people in today's world.

Our meetings talk about why the early Christians were so successful, and for those who're interested, we show how to join (or host) a Spiritual small group. We're non-denominational and everyone is welcome. Regardless of whether or not you're a churchgoer at this time, our relaxed discussion style and warm fellowship can inspire your whole week.
