"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19-20).
The Church celebrates baptism, first communion, confirmation -- and then has a gap to marriage. What happens in the heart of a so-so believer when they lose touch with their community of faithful? They move away from Christ our Savior.
A common undergraduate missionary group, called FOCUS, exists to serve the undergraduate student population at many Boston Universities, including MIT, Harvard, and Boston University. Graduate students, however, are left on their own to remain strong in faith.
This group will serve the graduate students across Boston universities. We will first study the book of Acts and plan an evangelization and formation strategy. Finally we will go to the universities and gain followers through Christ's guidance.
