Communist Gyoza in Tachikawa

I’m thinking that what I really need is some Communist Gyoza/Gyoza Nazi/Gyoza Heaven.

http://www.angelfire.com/zine/dougzplace/Gyoza1.html

This says they open at 5:30; I’ve heard rumor that they open at 5:00.

My plan is to meet at Tachikawa Station out the North Side on the big “balcony” at 4:30 Saturday.  Then once everyone’s together, we can walk over to Gyoza 1059.  (Which is actually out the South exit - but I know the North exit better.)

For those of you unfamiliar, it’s called the Gyoza Nazi (or Communist Gyoza) like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld – very strict rules about how and what you can order!  Only once - - - no “to go”, etc.  You can keep ordering beverages, however. . .  ;)

If you want in, let me know!  The place is pretty small, but if we’re the first ones there, we can take it over.  ;)  I think I already have a few friends from the area coming.

This isn't the best place for vegetarians. . .  all of the gyoza has pork in it.  But there are some great flavors (garlic!  potato!  cheese!) and they're as big as your fist.  If we have to wait outside until they open, that's OK - we'll be sure to get tables that way.  ;)

I'm going to put the deadline for RSVPing as Friday evening at 10:00 pm - - - so I know on Saturday how many people to expect.  You can decide to come after that, but I'm not guaranteeing there will be room.  ;)

[masked] is my cell number.

I had a great time -- the gyoza really are crazy big! It was really nice talking to everyone, and I do hope there'll be another meeting soon ^^

It was great! However, the gyoza that we smuggled home are making my refrigerator smell bad...

Mmmmm. . . next time, though, maybe order a couple fewer plates of gyoza. . . ;)

Well, if you're heading to Tachikawa anyway, feel free to call my cell phone. You never know where we might end up afterwards - County Clare's?

Wooow, sounds so yum! I really wanna make it. I cannot make it because I have something to do in Yoyogi until 5:30pm...

I would definitely join if there's another opportunity!
