Camera Phone Monthly Showcase

  • Sep 2, 2014 · 4:00 PM

The Camera Showcases (DSLRs, Point & Shoots, Camera Phones) will take place every month. The showcases are set up to encourage everyone to get out, shoot more pictures, experiment with their photography and then post them online to share and inspire other members. The sharing of photos encourages members to check out what others are doing and inspires them to try new things with their own camera. Members who post photos are encouraged (not required!  ) to add comments to share locations, camera used & settings, techniques, or post-processing methods used in order to help everyone improve their photography, learn new techniques and learn about new locations to photograph.

Everyone is encouraged to comment on photos and offer suggestions for improvement. You do not need to submit/post photos to leave comments or share your thoughts about the photos. The critiques are also welcome but please be constructive, encouraging and respectful of your fellow members in your suggestions, so that members of all skill levels will feel comfortable participating. Our goal is to have everyone have outstanding results.

So, get out there all you photographers and then post your favorite stuff! Don't miss your opportunity to strut your stuff and show what you and your little camera can do! ;-)

**(Great quote from Jeff McDonald- "The bottom line is the more you shoot, the better you get. The better you get, the more fun photography becomes. The more fun photography is, the more you shoot. The more you shoot, the better you get . . . you get the picture (no pun intended). This is a repeating cycle and a great way to improve your photography.")**
