Let's Go to the Movies: The History of Future Folk

I received an email a week ago from Yalin who works for Variance Films. She told me of her studio's new film The History of Future Folk. After looking up the film and watching the trailer I told her that I thought that Future Folk looked like an interesting film and I would be happy to promote it through the group. Yalin was nice enough to offer two free tickets which I a plan to raffle off.  All you have to do to enter the raffle is RSVP. I will announce the two lucky Celluloid Lovers who have won the day before the show.

Two aliens from the planet Hondo have come to take over our planet. But when they discover an amazing human invention called "music", they immediately abandon their mission, head to a tiny Brooklyn bar, and start the universe's first Hondonian bluegrass duo: Future Folk!

I am going to try and do a Let's Go to the Movies meetup every so often. I think it will be a nice change of pace to go to a theater to see a film every once in a while. If you would like to schedule a Let's Go to the Movies meetup click Schedule a New Meetup at the top of the homepage.
