"Truly the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me." - Anonymous

"They say you can change your reality with a thought... yeah, well, what do you say to those whose only way out of their horrifying reality is the thought of self-destruct?"

...under the most unbearable circumstances, where not even the basic needs are met, where there is no law, no justice, no hope... is there still anything left to live for?

"Tsotsi" (2006) a film by Gavin Hood, an adaptation of the novel Tsotsi by Athol Fugard, takes us into the life of a boy living in the slums of Alexandra, near Johannesburg in South Africa. The plot in short: "the thug steals a car only to discover a baby in the back seat".

Deeply affecting film, tears flowed. The power of experiencing vulnerability to open doors to allow expression of the best that we can be, was vividly exemplified. The follow up discussion elicited the far reaching benefits of promoting the conditions which would allow all people the optimum experience of vulnerability
