Crazy for Composting (Morning Session)

Are you passionate about composting but want more from your bin? This Q&A session provides the practical tips, advice, and encouragement you need to take composting to the next level, whether you are just starting out or have been digging in for years. Gardeners from registered GreenThumb community gardens will be able to request an order of compost, soil, or clean fill for early spring delivery. R.S.V.P. required. Both the morning and afternoon sessions will cover many composting topics, including soil health; the morning session will feature an additional discussion on rat abatement, led by a local expert.

Saturday, February 16 • 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1–3 p.m. • The New York Botanical Garden, Watson Education Building

Who, exactly, will be the ones answering questions?

Crazy for Composting is setup in a manner in which folks in the community share their own composting experiences, moderated by a Compost Project staff member. We invite people of all composting experience levels, from those curious starting to those who are well-seasoned to participate in the discussion.
