Do you grow food now or do you want to start growing food?

I grow fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers with my students.

What neighborhood in NYC do you farm or want to farm?

Where do you grow food or want to grow food (i.e. community garden, back or front yard, window sill, rooftop farm, etc)?

We have a courtyard garden and some garden beds on the side of the school.

What is the name of your project or farm (if relevant)?

Growing Leaders

Please describe your project or farm (if relevant).

Growing Leaders is a comprehensive school garden program that includes urban agriculture classes, culinary classes, after-school programming and fieldwork.

I am the garden educator at Leaders public school in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. And I am a market manager with Greenmarket. And I have been working on farms all over the world for 5 years now. And I love butternut squash.
