Looking to improve your public speaking, feel more confident in front of an audience, or network with other motivated San Diegans? Join City Speakers Toastmasters to see first-hand how this club can help you achieve your professional goals!
In a judgement-free space, we meet weekly to practice impromptu speaking, speech-giving, and networking skills. Our members come from diverse personal and professional backgrounds, but all value self-improvement and a healthy challenge. We hope to see you soon!
Our weekly meetings are what it's all about! Practice impromptu speaking, speech giving, active listening, critiquing, and have fun while doing it.
As a guest of City Speakers, you can expect to:
- introduce yourself to the group,
- participate in a short-response, off-the-cuff speaking opportunity,
- listen to members give speeches and speech evaluations,
- provide any feedback about your experience and the meeting in general, and
- meet great people!
If you're a little hesitant to jump right in, still stop by! While encouraged and supported, guest participation isn't required, and you're more than welcome to just observe the meeting.
All you need to bring is something to write with and an open mind.
