A surprising walk through this sprawling Forestry Commission site. On first glance Devilla looks like any other Scots Pine plantation, but each of its secretive lochs has its own unique character with an abundance of wildlife that includes red squirrels, dragonflies and wildfowl.
Forestry roads and unsurfaced woodland paths; the latter sometimes muddy.
A quiet walk in forestry. Last time I think I only found 3 lochs, so we'll see if we can do it better.
Forecast at the moment is for some rain, so bring wet weather gear and something to eat and drink. We may stop for a while at one of the lochs if the weather is kind.
