What we're about
Are you interested in making things? Well, lets put that energy to use and create the Claremont MakerSpace! A MakerSpace is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests in areas like woodworking, electronics, jewelry, textiles, machining, science, art, robotics, music and creating interesting things can meet, socialize and collaborate in a shared environment, with access to tools (high-tech & high quality) and adequate workspace.
No experience is needed, only your curiosity and imagination. A MakerSpace is a place to learn, practice, experiment, and create – no matter your background or skill level.
The Claremont MakerSpace is a projects of TwinState MakerSpaces, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It will provide education, tools, a shared workspace, and a community to empower fabricators, hobbyists, artists, and early stage entrepreneurs, to create on a large or small scale. It will be a place where you can build something, break something, and learn something. It will be a place where you can turn your idea into a reality.
Full access will be gained via a Claremont MakerSpace membership. We will offer classes on a wide range of topics for makers. On site material storage will be available. Space will be available for rent so you won't have to pack your project up when you go home.
Please help us take the next step in making the Claremont MakerSpace a reality. Please take our survey now and let us know what you want your MakerSpace to be. Let's MAKE it happen!
