What we're about

Our club was initiated by a brave posting at the 519 Community Centre 30 years ago as a gay social club. Out of respect to our own history we identify ourselves as "a music club for gay and gay-positive classical music lovers". But this means now in the 21st century, we believe that the Club is for everyone who loves classical music. We meet monthly on Sunday afternoons (Saturday evenings June-August) to listen to and discuss classical music. Enjoy audio and video recordings in a casual setting with others. No previous experience required. Just bring along your enthusiasm and a desire to meet others with an interest in classical music of all kinds -- orchestra, opera, voice, piano, etc. Refreshments will be served. Membership is $25 per year. No charge for first-time visitors.
