    Chip timing:
We will be using the IPICO system (click the link for a video of how to attach your chip to your shoe). You will receive your chip in your packet and you MUST remember to bring it on race day! You will need to attach it to your shoe laces to receive an official finish time when you cross the finish line. If you forget your timing chip, you will need to replace it or you will not have an official time. There is a $10 replacement fee. After the race, you do not need to return the chip. Instruction for attaching the timing chip is on the last page. Click here for a graphic of how to attach your chip.

    Number of Participants:
This event will be limited to maximum 500 participants for each day, and 50 relay teams on Sunday. In the past, the races have filled up each year. Sign-up early to make sure you get in!

    Time Limit:
The time limit for completing the Saturday half-marathon is four hours. For Sunday, the course will be open for 6-1/2 hours for all Sunday races (except early marathon walkers starting at 6 AM). The course closes at 2 PM on Sunday. Runners and walkers who have not finished by the time of course closure will be responsible for their own safety.

    Marathon Walkers:
An early start at 6 AM Sunday is available. The 6 AM start time is available only for those expecting a finishing time exceeding 6 hours. No early start finisher will have a finish time less than 6 hours. Water station will likely be unavailable for the first loop of the early start. Choose the early start option when you register for the race. Only REGISTERED Marathon Walker will be issued timing chips and allowed early start.

    Marathon Walkers Early Start Instructions
