Digital Accessibility 101 - The Basics
Digital accessibility means that your website, mobile app, or electronic documents like PDF files can be navigated and understood by all users, including those with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. In this presentation, Joshua Randall will cover the fundamentals of inclusive design and digital accessibility:
What types of audiences are affected?
Where can you go for more information?
How do designers and developers make websites and apps more accessible?
Joshua will also guide you through an overview of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which are the industry standard. Practical advice and tips will be shared to ensure accessibility gets included in all phases of a design project.
