What we're about

We welcome all members.

We are looking for people who are active in environmental, social justice, and animal rights causes.

Individuals and organizations who want to get involved in influencing public policy regarding issues they are passionate about.

People who want to collaborate and use the power of a combined voice to command attention to the issues we are involved in.

We hold group meetings to plan strategies on how to best address these causes, we have demonstrations, write letters to our governmental representatives.

We are committed to making change in the world through activism. Our group was founded around activism concerning the Keystone XL Pipeline, which is still very much an issue. We have been involved in Ohio Senate Bill 310, and most recently the EPA hearings on their proposed renewable energy standards. We recognize that while the concerns we have are rooted in the environment, we are also aware of the interrelationship of social justice matters like living wage, health care for all, wage equality, and animal rights and therefore are looking to be inclusive with other passionate people. We are utilizing this meetup site to make connection among various activist organizations and enable all organizations to post events on a common calendar and become a unified voice to enact change.
