Congrats on the article. As a divorced feminist and mother to boys I commend what you're doing. I don't think it takes away from anything. I've recognized these issues and been bothered by them as well. Would still be super nice to have that extra 10 or 20 grand a year in salary to take care of my family though :) that child support just isn't coming.  But I at least have a choice to try and move on. If only we were all judged on character and ability, sadly the courts and society as a whole just tends to be lazy. It's just easier to assume and generalize.
