This month we will have Steve Jackson delivering a talk that he is preparing for the Pittsburg Tech Fest later in June.
Do you like failure? This session is about how the mind reacts to failure. You'll learn about the cognitive biases that need to be overcome to move past the stigma of failing. This session will then explore failing safely and building environments where failure is encouraged. This focus on failure can then push towards an anti-fragile system that thrives on randomness.
Steve Jackson is a developer, coach, and expert coffee drinker at LeanDog. He loves creating unique solutions and solving impossible problems with software. Steve is passionate about improving the craft of delivering software and fostering environments where professionals want to continuously improve.

Parking is always free - turn left into the drive just past the USS Cod, go to the left of the booth (there is no gate and you don't have to pay) and grab a parking spot. Walk to the boat. We'll be in the downstairs LeanDog space (door to the left) at the front of the boat.
