The Module Builder pattern is a metaprogramming technique used to create new modules custom-built for the classes where they are included. Why would you want to do that? Is that even a good idea? This talk answers those questions while walking through a real life example of a refactor illustrating how to apply the pattern.

If you're a beginner, this will expand your mind to the possibilities that Ruby gives you. If you're an expert, you'll start sprinkling this into your projects with aplomb. No matter who you are, you will walk away having a new tool for your Ruby toolbox.

We will also have slots available for lighting talks and announcements. Folks of all experience levels welcome!

• 6:00 - Open Discussions, Networking
• 6:30 - Announcements, Lightning Talks?

Parking is always free - turn left into the drive just past the USS Cod, go to the left of the booth (there is no gate and you don't have to pay) and grab a parking spot. Walk to the boat. We'll be in the downstairs LeanDog space (door to the left) at the front of the boat.
