What we're about

QUESTION: What's a group of photographers called? Answer: A Click

THE FUN STUFF: Click Photographers, Gold Coast is for those of any experience level who love taking photos and will be opportunities for people to get together, make friends, have some fun and improve their photography in a social setting. We aim to share ideas, knowledge and to get the best out of your camera for ‘that shot’. You can be as casual or serious as you like.

We’ll choose various venues mainly on the Gold Coast to get out and explore a variety of scenarios and themes such as nature, wildlife, landscape, street, portraits and night photography. You are welcome to bring any type of camera! There is a saying “The best camera is the one you have with you”

After most outings we'll have a coffee or a bite to eat and a chance to chat, discuss any ideas, gear and to show off your great shots! This Meetup is free to join with a gold coin donation at events to help cover the Meetup website cost is most appreciated.

IMPORTANT (Ok not so fun stuff): Everyone is welcome and expected to be respectful to others. We are all here to learn and share our passion in a fun and supportive environment. Inappropriate behaviour or discrimination will not be tolerated. Unsolicited messages with commercial intent or spam, or any messages containing offensive language, harassment or unwanted contents will be removed and members posting such messages will be blocked and reported.

DISCLAIMER: You are fully responsible for your behaviour and your equipment, you attend locations at your own risk, the group and the organisers are not liable for your safety or your actions during these events.

HOW TO JOIN (the easy stuff): Upload a recognisable photo of yourself. Complete the brief profile questions. An Introduction is optional and can be filled out anytime.
