At the next of our regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month, we will welcome newcomers; listen to what Environmental Consultant Wolf Spranz tell us about hydrogen for energy and transport, the missing link in the energy supply chain.
The meeting starts at 7 pm but all welcome to join us for light meal from 6 pm at Cellini's Restaurant (opposite Hobbyco on Level 2) at the south end of the Queen Victoria Building cellinis.net.au - look for Citizens' Climate Lobby T-shirts.
If required, long-time members explain how Citizens' Climate Lobby advocacy for action on climate change complements protest demonstrations.
Generally we entertain, educate and support each other in raising public awareness about the seriousness and urgency of acting to find solutions to the climate disruption problem by
- helping each other with writing letters to newspapers and to community leaders
- proposing a brilliant method of pricing fossil fuels
- following well-thought-out strategies for meetings with community leaders, including politicians, especially to encourage consensus on the urgent need to stem carbon emissions.
No pressure. Just come for a short amusing video if you don't feel in a political mood.
See you there!
