Art Builds for Climate and Allied Justice Issues
Public art builds for 4/9, 4/16, and 4/23, each from 12 Noon to 8 PM. We'll prep for the upcoming BLM march (April 15), the Earthday-Mayday marches and workshops (April 22 - May 1), and also to get a start on our Solstice Parade (mid June) Black Snake Ensemble being facilitated by the theater team. RSVP to Shemona ([masked]) with which date (s), time range you'll likely attend, and if you're able to bring a sewing machine. Dress for a mess and bring some snacks to share! We may be able to add some weekday builds as needed as well, so watch for that.

What we're about

Founded in 2013, 350 Seattle has led local campaigns that have made climate action a priority. By fighting to get our city and the world's largest Foundation to divest from fossil fuels, getting out in kayaks to block Shell’s drilling rig from heading to the Arctic, raising awareness about explosive oil trains, lobbying to oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership, planning mass mobilizations in concert with cross-sector partners, and much more, 350 Seattle has become a respected force in the climate movement.

We are a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization.

We believe that the intransigence of governments to deal adequately with the climate crisis means that it is up to us: Only a mass movement can help to force the accelerated societal change we need to see in order to prevent climate chaos.
