What we’re about
WA is the home to the two biggest cloud service platforms (Amazon Web Services and Windows Azure). However, a platform is as good as what you do with it. This is a hands-on group for anybody, who wants to do something useful with popular IaaS, PaaS or SaaS cloud platforms, tools, and frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCE, OpenStack, Google AppEngine, Cloud Foundry, Joyent, Heroku, Force.com, Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes, great Hashicorp tools like Nomad/Consul/Terraform and many others). The definition of "useful" is limited only by your imagination :-)
The format of the meetup is open and driven by your interests! The main goal is to share ideas, collaborate, and code! No power point presentations are allowed :-)
Complex projects will be split across multiple events and at the end you will get a chance to vote for the most interesting cloud hack. If your project is selected you'll get a prize!
