Collage is one of the easiest ways to get started in mixed-media art. At its essence, mixed-media collage is about putting pieces together in an artistic way by cutting and pasting. But with some creative collage art ideas and a set of basic mixed-media materials, you can quickly expand your collage art to include found objects, paint, textures, stamping, and fiber. Basic Materials for Mixed-Media Collage Techniques. In this class you will learn how to use paints, Gel medium, Gesso, Splashes, Silks and found objects. As well as the use of stencils on a Set of three wood houses, Largest house measures 5 5/8” x 5 5/8”
