Come along on Saturday 7th August for a coach trip exploring some of the picturesque villages along the River Thames to the west of London!
About the trip
The River Thames runs for 215 miles from its source near Cirencester in Gloucestershire to the estuary into the North sea. Apart from going through London, the Thames also travels through Reading and Oxford. In between London and Oxford, there are lots of picturesque villages that sit on its banks. We will be visiting 4 of these villages!
We will be following the River Thames and crossing the Chiltern Hills visiting the villages of Bray, Henley-on-Thames, Clifton Hampden and Abingdon-on-Thames.
9:00am - leave London
10:30am - arrive at the village of Bray
12:00pm - leave
12:30pm - arrive at Henley-on-Thames
2:00pm - leave
2:30pm - arrive at Clifton Hampden
4:00pm - leave
4:30pm - arrive at Abingdon-on-Thames
5:30pm - meet coach
7:00pm - arrive back in London
Cost is £26 per person (payable in advance when you RSVP).
Please note: you won't be able to pay via the app, only the full site. You also don't need a Paypal account to pay, just a credit card.
- If you wish to reserve a seat on the coach in advance, after you pay please look at the seating plan in the photos and then email me ([masked]) with the seat number/s you wish to reserve. Its first come first served.
- The seat you sit on when you board the coach is yours for the day. If you wish to change seats on the coach during the day, you will need to get permission from the individual who is seated there.
Food & Drink
You can either bring food & drink for yourself or there will be cafes and pubs in the villages.
If you can't see us on Tothill Street near the coach, please text.
Please note, we only wait for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time. The coach has to leave at a specific time.
Look out for the 'Coach Day Trips' group sign.
