What we're about

At Cobb Communicators we come together once a week to learn more about and polish our public speaking, leadership and relationship building skills. Whether you're a newbie, just getting started and want to overcome your fear of speaking publicly or a seasoned speaker who is ready to take it to the next level or somewhere in between, this is a fun and cost-effective approach to achieve your goals. We're created a warm and inviting community of people who are dedicated to personal and professional development. Join us for great speeches, lots of laughter and good people coming together for a common purpose. And, from time to time we enjoy great food and relationship building when we host Toastmasters contests and special events. Every week there are plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself in a fun, collaborative and supportive environment - it's a great experience. We'd love to have you join us!

Join us every Tuesday at 7 pm. Whether you are curious, ready to become a member or visiting from another Toastmasters club, the door is always open. Visitors are welcome!

If you are thinking about becoming a Toastmaster (and we hope you are), know that it is the first step on an informative, challenging, fun and rewarding journey of personal and professional development. It’s about stepping into your best self, not only as a speaker and a leader (http://cobbcommunicators.com/tag/speaker-and-a-leader/), but the skills you acquire are transferable, they impact your life.

One great way to make progress as a Toastmaster is to set goals. The organizational structure is set up to help us accomplish some great speaking and leadership goals. Upon signing up as a Toastmaster, you begin with a fun “Ice Breaker Speech,” designed to share a little about y
yourself. This is just the first of many speeches you can present.

Don’t allow all of this goal-setting to intimidate you; actually, when it comes to setting goals, Cobb Communicators (http://cobbcommunicators.com/tag/cobb-communicators-2/) is a great place to be. We have just the right energy combination – professional, sprinkled with a family-like feel – to create an environment that will help you move through your goals with ease. Oh, you will be challenged, absolutely, but challenge is what keeps us going and growing, not comfort.

So, come and join us, how can you lose…you get to set and achieve some great goals as a speaker and leader that are transferable, AND you join a strong and caring community of folks who will cheer you on every step of the way.

Being a Toastmaster is a great way to kick start your goal setting in other areas as well; consider this a gentle nudge in the right direction.

For more information about membership and to access an application, visit www.cobbcommunicators.com (http://cobbcommunicators.com/).

You can also find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CobbCommunicators/), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cobb_communicators/) or Twitter (https://twitter.com/CobbSpeakers).

Come join us, we're here, ready to support, encourage and cheer you on!
