It's getting kinda hot out there. Come over, grab a cold drink and enjoy great talks waiting for you! 😎
📣Our agenda for the meetup will be:
🚀Andrzej Zuzak, iOS developer @Miquido
Do you have an app idea and don't have a backend? Don't worry! I will make your problems disappear like vapor.
This talk will show how easy it is nowadays to become a fullstack - or rather mobile-backend hybrid - developer, without leaving your favourite Swift ecosystem. Vapor explained via live-coding.
🚀Kacper Kaliński, iOS developer @Miquido
Why do we need promises?
Promise/Future is an old and commonly used pattern to deal with asynchronous code. Despite its age, it is still relevant and even might raise its popularity. It is used in many languages regardless of its paradigm. Do we need it in Swift?
🚀Sergio Sette, iOS Developer @Grand Parade part of William Hill
Improving unit tests' mocked data with type-safe JSON in Swift
Writing raw JSON mocked data is prone to typos and syntax errors, especially if you manually modify the JSON to test failing cases, like missing fields. With type-safe JSON, we will make the Swift compiler work for us to avoid this kind of error. As a bonus, a lot of data duplication will be removed, reducing the refactor effort when the data model changes.
PS. Our friends from Miquido(https://miquido.com) will take care of snacks and drinks 🍕🍺🥤
