Monthly CocoaHeads LA / Pasadena Meeting

The meeting is held in the One West Bank building located on the corner of Walnut and Lake in Pasadena, Ca. Parking is validated for you so pull into the covered parking structure and remember to bring your parking ticket with you to the meeting.

Once you park, follow the signs for the CocoaHeads meet up.

There will be food and plenty of drinks. (non-alcoholic) You must RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount for food.

This month's CocoaHeads meeting will feature not one but TWO experts focused in the area of UI/UX. (User Interface / User Experience) There is a lot of ground to cover and only 2 hours to cover it. About Alexa Roman

Alexa Roman is a User Experience Designer for Kluge, a boutique interactive agency in Marina del Rey. Kluge is a nimble, cross-functional team focused on building engaging experiences through websites and apps. The Kluge team has a lot of experience with responsive design and is currently working on its first iOS design/build. Alexa co-organizes the UX Bookclub and is active in the design community through LAUX Meetup, A+D Museum and Digital LA/Silicon Beach Fest. Before finding out that User Experience was her calling, Alexa worked in Set Design for Television and Film.

Jon Fox is a User Experience leader with over 15 years of design expertise working for large scale companies and cutting edge startups. As a Product & Mobile Interaction Expert, he specializes in mobile, tablet and web products that bridge the gap between Usability, Visual Design, Business Strategy and Technical Implementation. He recently joined OpenX as the User Experience Lead, where he is focused on delivering a comprehensive UX strategy the new generation of enterprise products. In addition to his work at OpenX, Jon is the Founder of NELAUX, an organization focused on the growth and prosperity of the North East Los Angeles UX and Design community.
