March Meeting
• What we'll do Hi everyone Firstly thanks to Alex, Adon, Tim and Jared for speaking at the February meeting on behalf of the group. I would also like to emphasise that we are open to talks and presentations of any length etc. As an example I still have my question about using Google Places service to convert a known location into sensible freetext search terms, something I expect to take 5 minutes to present and hopefully will help me on a current project! Please let me know if you have an interest in speaking at the March meeting. I have also put up two more Meetups that represent events at Techweek. One is for helping out at a kids (and probably young adults) hackathon. I few ideas have been mooted but this is very early days so the format is not really set. But I know many of the group have already volunteered and do help out with this sort of thing so many be interested in this. The second is for those who would be interested in attending a round table event with Tim Bell (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Bell_(computer_scientist)). The date for this would be a weeknight Tim can manage during Techweek so please RSVP if you would make time in your schedule to attend. Chris • What to bring • Important to know
