National Day of Civic Hacking

Code for New Orleans is hosting an event for the National Day of Civic Hacking to build on the ideas generated from the City of New Orleans Re-Entry Design Jam and discuss how we might use technology to solve some of the problems identified.  We'll be discussing the civic hacking scene with Code for America, and how the National Day of Civic Hacking is a way for us to engage our community to propose projects.

The Agenda will look like this:

10-10:15 - Sign In / Coffee
10:15-10:45 - Welcome / Introduction to Code for New Orleans
10:45-11 - Collaboration with the City
11-11:30 - Review of the Re-Entry Design Jam
11:30 - 12 - Re-Entry projects planning using Civic Tech Canvas
Lunch
1 - 2 - Other project proposals using Civic Tech Canvas
2 - 3 - Discuss next steps / Closing
