What part of the technology stack of Dayton REAP should we explore?

For our next meetup (May 12th), we'd like to explore some of the technology behind Dayton REAP with the express purpose of getting people up and running with the application. We would love to explore all the parts, but we'll prioritize them based on levels of interest. What do we mean by explore? - Getting your computer set up to work with the code. - Spending some time looking through the code to understand the basics of what it is doing. - Playing in the code. Let's try to change the behavior, look, etc. of the code together. Why do this now? Much of the technology we used in this project is stuff that'll get used in future projects, and we've got a lot of people who are interested in getting involved, but are unsure of where to start.
