Help draft an Open Data Questionnaire for Miami-Dade mayoral candidates!

A former member
Hi everyone!
You're receiving this e-mail because you signed up for the Code for Miami MeetUp group and subscribed to organizer messages.
Code for Miami member Susan Jacobsen is currently helping out with a campaign to send surveys to local mayoral candidates of Miami-Dade municipalities to gauge their support for Open Data initiatives. (In a nutshell: no open data, the harder it is for us to build civicly-minded applications and visualizations for our communities.)
She has crafted drafts of a letter, a survey, a FAQ and has started to compile a list of local candidates to send these materials to. Please take a look at these documents, making edits or forwards where necessary. Any updates to the incomplete mayoral candidates list would especially be helpful.
Going forward, all conversations will continue on our Google Groups link at , but we feel that this is an important enough cause to be a part of, if you haven't been to a Code for Miami meeting lately.
Please feel free to review and edit:

Code for Miami meetings continue every Monday at 7pm at the LAB Miami co-working space in Wynwood. We hope to see you there!
