We have a pitch tonight with Mindy Cuppy from the City Of Sacramento, hoping to build, but for Sacramento!

Let's discuss. If you want to get involved in advance, check out open disclosure for Oakland, and consider how we might build that for Sacramento.

Come by and get involved in civic innovation! We need software developers, designers, project managers, and leaders to help us build open source civic software and projects for the public good. Jump on a project and build some new skills while helping the community or come and pitch a great idea for the group to work on.

We will fuel your efforts every week with free pizza.

Code For Sacramento, a brigade of Code for America, is a group of community organizers, developers, and designers that are putting technology to work in service of our local communities. We focus on building civic oriented open source software (see our GitHub page We believe that government can work, for the people, by the people, in the digital age, if we all help.
