  • inxi #brief system info
  • inxi -F #full system info
  • inxi -Gx #graphics card info

  • journalctl #display systemd log (truncated lines)
  • SYSTEMD_LESS=FRXMK journalctl #display systemd log (wrapped lines)
  • journalctl -b -1 #show log from the previous boot
  • journalctl -b -2 #show log from two previous boots... etc
  • journalctl -b #show log from current boot

  • du -h /var/log/journal #check systemd journal size

set a journal size limit (default is 10% of your root directory)
For new size limit to take effect:

  • sudo systemctl restart systemd-journald #restart systemd's journal
