What we're about
COFFEE & CONVERSATION is a Progressive Christian group that meets regularly to discuss liberal Christian theology topics in open dialogue. We welcome anyone who is open-minded and interested in conversations around liberal religious theology and progressive Christianity. We offer a safe, respectful space to share our questions, doubts, and perplexities with religion and spirituality. We believe we find grace in the search for understanding and believe there is more value in questioning than in absolutes.
COFFEE & CONVERSATION welcomes anyone who is open and accepting of conversations that are challenging, thought-provoking, and may not conform to traditional orthodox Christian beliefs. We hold varying views as to the nature, authority, and interpretation of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Scriptures. We come from many religious backgrounds with differing viewpoints that are valued, as well as appreciated.
COFFEE & CONVERSATION respects and welcomes ALL people, including Christians and non-Christians, conventional Christians and questioning skeptics, believers and agnostics, women and men, those of all sexual orientations and gender identities, and those of all classes and abilities. We foster a non-judgmental and inclusive environment, accepting and affirming everyone no matter who they are or where they are on life’s journey.
