Come and speak Italian! - December 2018
• What we'll do This group is for everyone who's learning Italian, would like to start learning Italian or used to speak Italian but has become rusty and would like to refresh their memory, as well as any native / fluent Italian speakers who would like to help others to learn, or Italian speakers who would like to practise their English. The group is led by Madelyn, a semi-fluent Italian speaker who studied Italian A-level many years ago, forgot most of it and then re-learnt it using the Duolingo app. Madelyn set up the group in order to find likeminded people with whom to practise her Italian speaking and listening skills. Everyone is welcome! :) It would be great if you could also buy a drink (or dinner) at The Old Siege House in return for the use of their space! [Photo by Jessica Sysengrath on Unsplash] • What to bring You may wish to bring a notepad and pen to scribble down any new words you learn! Please bring reading glasses if needed, as some of the text is quite small! • Important to know There is a charge of £2 per person to attend this meeting, which is payable on the night. Alternatively you can pay £20 for a year's membership which runs from January to December. Many thanks! If you need to contact Madelyn you can text or call her on[masked], or email her at findthewrightfit [at] gmail.com.

What we're about

This group hosts Italian conversation meetings and Spanish conversation meetings.

The Italian meetings are for everyone who's learning Italian, would like to start learning Italian or used to speak Italian but has become rusty and would like to refresh their memory, as well as any native / fluent Italian speakers who would like to help others to learn, or Italian speakers who would like to practise their English.

The Spanish meetings are for beginner Spanish learners and anyone who would like to start learning Spanish.

The group is led by Madelyn, a semi-fluent Italian speaker who studied Italian A-level many years ago, forgot most of it and then re-learnt it using the Duolingo app. Madelyn set up the group in order to find likeminded people to practise her Italian speaking and listening skills with. Everyone is welcome! :)

Madelyn also collaborates with Diane, a Spanish teacher from Connect To English, to provide the Spanish conversation meetings (because Madelyn can't speak Spanish... yet!).
