Lunch 'n Learn: I Have A Dream!

I Have a Dream ! .... Business Concept Development ”, facilitated by Kumar Saha

Part 2 of a 6-Part Lunch n’ Learn discussion vignette series, each serving as a short introduction to the Small Business Boot-Camp education series. The discussion will guide and support participants to give their dream business and model focus and clarity. Specifically, we will discuss some of the common mistakes people make when selecting a business. Participants will learn some basic strategies for choosing the right business. Finally, we will review the top ten do’s and don’ts of planning.

Kumar Saha has been the principal of AK Saha Consulting Inc. for over twenty years. As a consultant, his focus has been on small business development, financial management, corporate governance, strategic and operational planning, and aboriginal economic development including socio-economic assessments.

He specialises in business planning and economic development. Over his career, Kumar has helped a number of entrepreneurs take their ideas and turn them into viable businesses. Everything from a small independent coffee shop, to a hotel and even a development corporation.

Kumar holds a Master’s degree in Economics and not only operates his own consulting company, he is also the founder of My Place Home Care, an independent non-medical home care company focused on caring for seniors and persons with disabilities in a way that improves their quality of living.

Kumar believes in giving back to the community and does so through his hours of volunteerism at a local soccer club where he not only coaches but has held a number of other volunteer positions from team manager to president of the Club. He gives back to the business community by actively participating in round table discussions at Collab Space and as one of the developers of the e-60 Business Builder Program of the Small Business Boot Camp Series.
