  • Travis Walton

Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice

    $15.00

Travis Walton was the Arizona logger whose 1975 encounter with a UFO was made into the Paramount movie, "FIRE IN THE SKY". Ignoring the warnings of his fellow crewmen, Walton approached the craft and was struck by a blast of energy from it and taken aboard. The crew were suspected of murdering Walton and making up a wild story to cover up for the deed until Arizona State Police lie detector tests cleared them. Travis recounts the events of that day, explains where the movie departs from what really happened and details fascinating new developments in what is now recognized as the best documented case of alien contact ever recorded. • The Coming of the Saucers

    Englewood High School "The Venue"

This month's presentation: "The Coming of the Saucers" Presented by our State Director, Doug Wilson Modern UFO reports are generally considered to have begun with the 1947 wave of sightings now known as "The Summer of the Saucers". This month we will take an in-depth look at some of the sightings that started that summer of sightings and the cases that spurred the fledgling U.S. Air Force to launch it's first "Saucer Project," Project Sign. The summer of 1947 is a period that must be understood by anyone wanting to understand the origins of the alleged government "cover-up" of UFOs.
