Ride Category: Black, Drop Ride, No Sweep
Reminder - This is a "drop" ride with groups splitting up based on pace and abilities.
Brief Description - Weather is looking perfect for a morning ride so lets head out around Security-Widefield and Fountain area. We will head past Shriever AFB and the Aztec Family Raceway returning past Peterson AFB and the Colorado Springs Airport. The roads should all be good, shoulders may have some gravel due to the past snow.
I am confident it will be a nice sunny ride so let's put in a few more outside miles this year.
Pace - 16-21 mph (riders always split up into groups of similar pace)
Distance -40 miles
Elevation gain -2,000' mostly rolling hills.
Difficulty - Moderate but that is dependent on your pace

I will not be providing maps and cue sheets. I keep building them and rarely hand them out anymore. Waste of time and paper.
Things to Bring - Each rider should be self-sufficient, which means carrying water, food, and a tire repair kit. Weather in Colorado can be unpredictable, so make sure you dress for the day’s weather. Everyone needs to be wearing a bike helmet to join in so don't forget yours.
Sweep - NONE - This is “drop” ride.
