Lunch at Seeds Community Cafe

Alert member Inge has suggested this wonderful spot for lunch!  I wrote about them recently for my blog and am excited to go!  The food is terrific and the people are amazing.

I deeply apologize Karen. I had a last minute octors appointment for spiking blood pressure.

This was a huge disappointment! I have never belonged to or been to a meetup group until today. I was the only one that showed up to Seeds. I waited for 25 minutes and asked everyone when they came in if they were with the group. No one. I drove over 60 minutes round trip for this. Can't believe this is the way to welcome new people.

Karen, I am so sorry. I sent out a note a yesterday explaining that I wouldn't be able to make it, but didn't cancel it since several people were still on the list. Sometimes people RSVP and don't attend, but I thought a few would be there and it would be okay. I feel really bad that you went to so much trouble and were the only one. I hope this doesn't discourage you from trying another meetup, with our group or another group. It usually works out better than this.

I'm going to try to make it, but Transition Manitou is hosting a community discussion for Manitou's Local-first Grocer at 6 at Marika's Coffeehouse on this same day and am rushing to get the presentation finished...

Inge, I've messed up and double booked myself, which means I can't make it tomorrow. Will you take charge? Usually, I just ask anyone who looks lost if they're with the meetup group. Then I invite them to join us, whether they say yes or no. :-)

I've had lunch there before...it was delicious. I know you will have a great meal. And on Thursdays I think Kevin Campbell cooks...that would be a double bonus!

I can't come this time - will be out of town. Look forward to another one.
