    Dec. [masked] – Sunday – Hike up and have snacks and wonderful food, drinks, and enjoy the view from the Squaw Mountain Lookout Station –

    Arrival at the station between 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm – stay as late as 10 pm -  but know you’re hiking out in the dark -Sunset: is at 4:44pm … recommended you hike in groups and car pool up. Flashlight /headlamp!!!!!

    Although you basically hike on the road all the way up, treat it as any other days hike – be prepared

    Food will be prepared and served though out your stay– (you will be given a packet to carry up or asked to bring 1 gallon of water to leave (bring extra for your hike) – I will make arrangements with each person going on getting a packet to you.

    2 miles hike up hill all the way to the station give yourself 2 hours plus to snowshoe//hike up and an hour to get down. – (depending on conditions)

    Come up and I will prepare an assortment of snacks, treats, and munchies throughout your visit, From the lookout observation deck and upper level with 360 degree windows,  you can see 100 peaks, the complete front range, Play games, socialize or just take in the sites and eat to your stomach’s delight.

    Prepare your pack as if it is any other hike (10 essentials plus extras)  which could be bitter cold and windy.

    Getting there:

    15 miles from Evergreen to TH

    29 min (15.3 miles)  via Squaw Pass Rd

    • Interstate 70 w -  Head southwest on Exit 252

    • Use the middle 2 lanes to turn slightly right onto CO-74 S 2 .8 mi

    • • Turn right onto Squaw Pass Rd go 12.0 mi
