Great: It was terrific to have two wonderful presentations. No where else is this kind of information/education and discussion available for the cost of COPVA membership ($100 per year ) This months food selection was more eclectic than usual, but I know that any comment on food could be rewarded with a committee job.

This is a very informative and professional group. In addition, the organizers are friendly, and good hosts! O, and the food is great.

What a great meeting. Don Dexter gave us some really great ideas for creating a compelling short non-fiction piece, and inside info from his eyes as he judges documentaries for competitions......it reminded me of what I knew and forgot...and told me what I didn't know and needed to!

Jay Schaffer did a great job of teaching how to "Overcrank" and "Undercrank", - creating beautiful time lapse scenes are more than a thought! Lots of details of camera choice, software, how to avoid the pitfalls (they are plenty), and not waste your time while doing a 5 hour exposure....Now I know. - Not for the weak of spirit.

    Thanks guys!

Met some new people too. Welcome!
