Columbia Raw Food Feasters September, 2012 Potluck

Ok, so we have to say good-bye to summer and the abundance of locally grown vegetables.  Well, maybe not yet!  Join us for a spectacular raw food potluck celebrating the great growing season we've had.  Bring a dish to share (so about 25 people get to try it!), and be prepared to be amazed at how well your dish fits in and enhances the other offerings.  Also, this month we will be showing Food, INC. the Oscar nominated for best documentary a couple of years ago.  If you haven't it, don't miss this opportunity to view it with a sympathetic crowd.  If you have seen it, watch it again for even more insights and understanding of what is happening to our food system.  We'll start the film about 7 ish, and if you can't spare the time to stay for it, come anyway for the supper.  We'll see you there! Bring a friend or two!

Nice cozy little group, though lots more RSVPed than showed up. It was a beautiful day to not leave the gardens! We had a typical great meal, and many of us remained to view "Food, Inc." After several viewings, I still find it to be a very important film, and certainly relevant for people adding more raw fruits vegetables, nuts, and seeds to their diets

Smaller group this time, but always entertaining and great food. You never know who you might meet, or what you might learn. Great to have you back Mary Ella and Glenda.

So sorry to say that I won't be able to attend today. My 11 week old boy isn't to thrilled about his mom leaving ;) I'm hoping to see and get to know you all very soon.

    All my best,
    Habby

OMG! What an awesome variety of raw food! My favorite was the kale salad I couldn't get enough. Next was the key lime pie,yum everything was wonderful. Can't thank Jane enough for making it possible. I feel like I have found what my body has been craving
