Photographic Interests?

Very wide range in interests, photographically speaking. I do lots of landscapes and that sort of thing. I also enjoy shooting air shows. I like to shoot anything old and worn out or abandoned.

Photographic skill level (Beginner, Novice, Moderate, Advanced, Guru)

Pretty advanced… approaching "Guru" status (one day I hope).

Gear that you use? Feel free to list the cameras, lenses and other accessories that you find to be indispensable.

Cameras: Canon 60D, 5D & 20D (backup) Lenses: Canon[masked] IS f4 L Canon[masked] IS f2.8 L Other few various lenses Computer: I'm a Mac Software: Adobe Lightroom Photoshop

What skills would you like to develop further? For example: Action, Portraiture, Macro, Photoshop.Lightroom/Post-Processing Skills, etc...

People Photography, especially models. I don't tend to shoot people very much, so it's an area that I'd like to explore more.

Do you have skills that you are willing to share with others to help them improver their photography? If so, what skills would you be willing to be a mentor for other members?

I lead several outings, workshops and programs for the club each year on general photography skills (beginner to advanced skill levels), Photoshop, Lightroom, etc...

Hi, I'm Bart and I'm sort of the tech-guy for the Camera Club. I host the the club's website and handle the computer stuff at the meetings. I'm also the organizer for this Meetup group. Oh yeah, I am a photographer too (almost forgot that one).

What Bart is saying about this Meetup Group

Folks should join this group because we have a really great club! I have been able to do quite a bit of traveling up and down the east coast over the past few years and I've taken every opportunity to visit other photography clubs and Meetup groups, and I can tell you that our club is the best I've been to, hand's down. We have a large number of active folks who enjoy bring in new people and having the opportunity to be a mentor from time to time. AND, we have as much fun just hanging out together as we do shooting (and we love to shoot!). Oh yeah, we have some really great photographers too. If you are looking for a Meetup group that is open to all, friendly and sharing… and has several FREE outings & workshops every year, then this is the Meetup for you! We almost never charge for outings and/or workshops, and if there is a charge it's only to cover the cost of admission, or to pay for the venue. Come give our group a try. We are pretty confident you'll like what you see.
