We are all about good beer and sharing time and beers with those who also love good beer.
As the common policy with most meetup groups, if you are a No-show to two events (that you RSVP'd) and didn't change within reasonable amount of time; we have the right to remove you from the group and you may reapply.
The taps are ready to flow at a new Westerville craft beer and bourbon bar.
The Draft Room opened Sept. 25 at 570 Schrock Road capping more than a year of development and work on the part of its owners, husband and wife Nick Baker and Pam Baker and their friend Sara Schopfer.
“We’re excited to be open now,” said Baker, who also owns Baker’s Acres Greenhouse in Alexandria. “We just saw a void for a beer bar and bottle shop up here on the northeast side.”
The greenhouse business is seasonal so the Draft Room gives the Bakers an additional business year-round. That horticultural background is evident in the 2,300-square-foot space with plants decorating the walls.
The Draft Room sells beer from its 22 taps by the pint or in growler or crowler fills. It also has a line dedicated to nitro-pour coffee, currently tapped with an offering from Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea
The have secured a food truck, and as soon as I remember the name of it, this will be updated.
**This is a small venue so limited number of people will be permitted, so please be kind and change your RSVP, if you cannot attend.** Please do not show up if you have not RSVP'd or are still on the waitlist.
